Played 30 legs, ended up winning 16-14 against my mate, but wasn't at my best (but neither was he to be honest). For some reason tops deserted me, and my finishing which is usually my strong point was poor. Must have happened in about 8 legs, ending up on double one... Need to put that right for next league match.
This weekend will not see much practice, but hoping next week I can get on the board every night, see if I can get that average up, as we have a big game on the 22nd March against The Golden Lion. They, like the Nags Head a few weeks ago, are gonna get it.

180!
Well just had a quick chuck and in first few minutes a magical maximum pops out!Anyhow, been having a chat to Mark Dudbridge today on twitter (@markdudbridge), and he seems to think that with enough practice and dedication an average in the 90's may be possible. That was good to hear, and I'm sure will provide motivation for the hours of practice ahead over the coming weeks / months...
Anyhow, not much more practice tonight, I have man duties to attend to, like cooking.

Starting Point...
Right, this average is pretty bad by my own low standards, but its a starting point.Disappointed not to hit a 180, I usually bag at least one, and also gutted that the numerous 81's and 85's weren't tons.
Please with the doubles average though, it's one part of my game that I'm pretty consistent with.
My highest out was a 101 (3 darts) followed by a 72 (2 darts).
Well, I'll do a better breakdown next time, but being in a rush to get out this is it for now!
Who, What, Where, Why, When
Hi. So is it possible? What you may ask, but the clue is in the title...Can I, of average darting ability, ever, through practice and dedication, get into the PDC?
I think not, but my mate Nige thinks that if you practice hard enough you could. I think you need a gift, natural ability, throwing 180's when you are 6 kind of ability.
I have thrown 180's, I have hit a 170 checkout (see above pic), but my downfall is my practice average, its just not good enough. I'm around 63-65 atm, and have thrown as high as 70 over 10 legs, but I can't get over that...
Anyway, who knows, but this blog from hence forth will plot my practice, league games, and my eventual rise to World Champion of the PDC...
Hope you enjoy...
